Roy and Nicole founded Wagati Cattery in 1996. We were among the first foundation breeders of the Savannah Cat. Wagati has become a renowned cattery offering the very best of high percentage Savannahs. Our cats have been featured in magazines and newspaper articles all over the world. We are known among our colleagues as experts in the care and breeding of exotic cats.

As new breeders in 1996 we were mentored by Joyce Sroufe who is considered to be the original founder of the Savannah Cat. Since then we have successfully bred high percentage 50 and 75 % Savannahs. Many of our F1 females have become the foundation queens for other catteries of excellence. We continue to enjoy a small cattery producing only a couple of litters a year of high percentage high quality kittens for pets and breeders.

Wagati Cattery is located on 5 sunny acres in SW Oklahoma. Our cats enjoy large indoor/outdoor environmentally controlled facilities. This allows for optimum conditions for both physical and mental health. Our cats enjoy personal attention and play time every day; we consider them as part of our family. Providing them with the highest quality of care is our priority.

Having healthy happy parents we are assured of kittens which will be off to the best possible start. All of our kittens are hand raised in our home. We do this so they are acclimated to a family environment. Our kittens arrive at their new homes loving and well socialized. They are outgoing and confident and easily become beloved family members.

Our goal is to breed the highest quality Savannah kittens that closely resemble the African Serval. Personality is just as important to us and we ensure our kittens to be the best they can be.
