The purpose of this contract is to protect the Buyer, the Breeder and Kitten or Cat.
This contract insures the buyer they are purchasing
a 50% Savannah kitten born _ _ _.
The cost of the kitten is $__. The owner is responsible for all shipping costs.
Upon delivery of kitten the owner will be provided with a well kitten health
certificate and FeLv /FIP testing results.
A deposit of $__ is required to hold the kitten
and the balance due to be paid within __
weeks.
The kitten is guaranteed for 72 hours after delivery. It is the responsibility
of the buyer to take the kitten to the veterinarian for a thorough examination
during this time. If this examination identifies a problem, the buyer must contact
the breeder immediately.
Because we have no control over care, exposure to disease, or treatment,
breeder will not replace kittens/cats beyond the guarantee
period. Breeder is to be notified IMMEDIATELY of any signs of illness or distress
during the period of guarantee, and failure to do so will render any guarantee
null and void. Under no circumstances are the kitten/cats to be destroyed prior
to notification by the buyer to the breeder. Any cat for which the buyer expects
replacement must be returned to the breeder so that identity of the cat can
be verified.
Kittens under 16 weeks of age must be shipped counter-to counter if there is
a connection and transfer enroute. The buyer or agent must be present to meet
the flight, and failure to do so will render the guarantee null and void. The
breeder has the right to delay shipping in order to avoid poor weather conditions.
Any female kitten sold for breeding purposes is guaranteed fertile. If after a reasonable amount of time, 3 years, the female has not produced, the owner agrees to send the female back to the breeder to try to breed her. If after one year the breeder is unable to produce a litter the female will be replaced.
